Sharpeville Massacre

“WE REMEMBER. Today we are commemorating the Afrikan souls massacred in Sharpville and Langa for refusing to comply with racist regulations imposed by settlers sixty-four years ago. And we recognize the systemic design behind the intentional and brutal destruction of Afrikan people. We remember the Hyksos, the Arabs, the Greeks, the Romans, the Portuguese, the Dutch, the Belgians, the British, the Germans, the French, the Spanish, the Italians and all their compatriots.

The reminder that we must trust no one has been repeatedly demonstrated to us. We have learned that massacring is a creative business staged in a variety of formats: Occupation, staging of conflict, insurrection, loans, medicine, biological warfare, sanctions, planting of political allies, education, religion and health.

We must stop being so desperate to form friendships with nations who benefit from our death.” Baba Buntu 21 March 2024
