Chief Bambatha kaMancinza Zondi<\/p>\n

Chief Bambatha was the leader of the Zondi Chiefdom, one of many chiefdoms that were destroyed by the evil ills of capitalism. The home of the Zondi people was deep in the valley of Mpanza of the Greytown District in KwaZulu Natal. Since their encounter with British colonialists, a foreign system was forced upon them via warfare and laws of oppression. Enough was enough when Chief Bambatha revolted against the collection of The Poll Tax, a tax that would deplete the wealth of all Native South African\u2019s, making them vulnerable to the exploitation of European colonialism and capitalism.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
